The City of SailingWelcome to City of Sailing – Qingdao
The Sea has always been a source of inspiration for mankind, a source of life and development, and sailing has constantly been a sustained passion for humanity.
Qingdao, the “City of Sailing”, at the coast of the Yellow Sea combines a beautiful scenery of harmonious synchronicity between society and nature. The beautiful ocean city of Qingdao will in 2008 host the sailing regatta during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. A natural choice as the history of modern Qingdao is a history of growth and development that is combined by the tide and wind of the sea.
It is very difficult to resist the enchantment of the beautiful coast line of Qingdao, washed by the sea for thousand of years, the sandy beaches and the ocean glittering ahead waiting for you to set sails. Welcome to a real “City of Sailing”!
